More than a blog

On the face of it, this is a website founded by a curriculum leader for music in a state secondary school. But there’s more under the surface.

I want to:

• Inspire and motivate teachers to be the best musician in their own classroom

• Offer grab-and-go time and sanity saving resources and materials for teachers

• Promote methods and produce materials that are high quality and low effort

In my department, every decision I make follows a Philpott and Spruce quote: “the nature of music education should reflect the very nature of music itself”, and I will be applying the very same ethos that makes my department successful to this site as well.
